We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Instructor/Trainer based in Waltham, Massachusetts. The primary function of this role is to design, develop, and deliver technical training, both instructor-led and eLearning, in support of strategic projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with Salesforce implementations.
Responsibilities
Collaborate and communicate with various business lines to identify technical training needs and gaps across the organization.
Execute on training solutions to support initiatives within the Project Management Office and Human Resources departments.
Ensure that business processes and systems are adopted across the organization with minimal impact to daily production and the customer experience.
Deliver all or a portion of the initial training, ensuring a positive learner experience, and provide train-the-trainer assistance.
Plan for training reinforcements and sustainment.
Leverage and analyze training data to evaluate learning effectiveness and identify instructional improvement opportunities.
Manage logistical aspects of training programs, including Learning Management System, to ensure operational efficiency.
Lead meetings with business line managers and vendors, create training plans and agendas related to technical initiatives.
Assist the department with projects and initiatives as assigned and in support of the strategic plan.
Proactively seek knowledge expertise in the technical training environment as well as general business trends and practices to enhance offerings and practices.
Apply knowledge of adult learning theory to identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles.
Requirements
Proficiency in Project Management is necessary for this role
Strong knowledge and experience in MS Office is required
Experience in Project Implementation is a must
Familiarity with Salesforce Implementations is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Ability to deliver training sessions to diverse audiences
Proven track record in developing and implementing training programs
Capacity to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
