Job Description
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Instructor/Facilitators to join our learning services team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing training materials, tailoring training classes, and delivering engaging sessions on a range of leadership development topics.
Responsibilities
Deliver a variety of courses, both traditional and virtual, to participants.
Maintain and update course materials as necessary to ensure relevance and accuracy.
Obtain certifications in accordance with the course certification plan.
Stay abreast of current management best practices and training methodologies.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Handle classroom administration tasks such as setup, roster circulation, and breakdown.
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
Travel as required to conduct training sessions.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages individual growth.
Apply adult learning theory principles to optimize course delivery.
Facilitate group activities and guide discussions effectively.
Provide coaching and feedback to enhance participant skills.
Actively participate in personal, team, and organizational growth initiatives.
Education
MA/MS in Business Administration, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
Required Experience
Three to five years of experience as a facilitator in traditional or virtual training environments.
Proficiency in facilitating learning and transferring job-related knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to motivate learners and employ various teaching techniques.
Five years of managerial or supervisory experience.
Experience in managerial roles within federal agencies is highly desirable.
