The successful candidate will leverage one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world and work with a high-caliber, passionate team to lead high-impact projects and scale data-driven insights that enable our sales teams to unlock customer value. The ideal candidate has 2+ years working with SQL and data visualization tools to query large data-sets (e.g. Presto/Trino, Spark SQL, Tableau, etc.). The company offers a great work environment!

Insights Associate Program Manager Pay And Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $40-$50/hr (Pay varies based on candidate's location and experience)

Insights Associate Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Leverage our unique data used to power innovative tools to address business challenges.
  • Write SQL/Presto/Trino/Spark queries to extract the necessary data and leverage data visualization tools such as Tableau to present the information.
  • Take existing queries or dashboards and optimize them to run more efficiently/consistently while building in automated checks and controls to proactively flag any problems.
  • Handle incoming support requests to ensure our end users experience is bug-free and efficient.
  • Experiment with and implement enhancements to various internal data tools to improve usefulness for the broader team.
  • Build cross-functional momentum for operational improvements and partner effectively with other teams.
  • Evangelize the use of data in sales and represent the voice of our customers.
  • Solutions Insights Team, focusing on developing customer-specific narratives at scale.
  • The role involves operational work, Tier 2 ticket support, and potentially narrative development and data analytical work.
  • Support sales or CS partners reporting issues like bugs or more technical questions.
  • Work with ready-made data sets and narratives but can be developed and enhanced.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: The role requires managing Tier 2 support tickets, troubleshooting, and potentially leading smaller initiatives. It involves coordinating with the team, meeting deadlines, and managing SLAs for Tier 2 support.
  • Program Management: The role may involve project management skills, particularly in managing one's own time, providing updates, and meeting strict deadlines for narrative building and Tier 2 support.

Insights Associate Program Manager Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis, data storytelling, turning data into insights and presenting to internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • 2+ years working with SQL and data visualization tools to query large data-sets (e.g. Presto/Trino, Spark SQL, Tableau, etc.).
  • 2+ years of experience with PowerPoint and Excel (Microsoft suite)
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience with product, data engineering, or sales analytics and/or data science.
  • Experience with data storytelling, turning data into insights and presenting to internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Open to candidates with experience in Power BI instead of Tableau, provided they can quickly adapt.
  • Experience with customer insights data is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Troubleshooting experience is preferred, especially in a support model context.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong business acumen, creative problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and desire & ability to learn.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL - excited about opportunities to optimize/tune queries joining datasets with billions of rows and optimize performance.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop (Presto/Spark), git, & Tableau.
  • Ability to provide a business lens to analytical and technical problems.
  • Ability to build alliances across the company.
  • Ability to translate user feedback into tool requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Strong foundation in SQL, data visualization tools (preferably Tableau), and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, self-sufficiency, resourcefulness, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Preference for candidates with strong technical skills over project management skills.
