As a member of the Sales organization, the Inside Sales Representative works closely with MediaTek Account Managers on our most strategic accounts to proactively manage assigned customer's demand stream with MediaTek. The ISR supports and works with the Sales Team, Planning, Manufacturing, and the Business Units to communicate requirements and expectations for assigned accounts. The ISR interfaces directly with assigned customers supply chain teams, including face to face visits as necessary. The ISR also interfaces with the end customer's manufacturing partners and MediaTek Sales Teams associated with these partners globally.
This person understands customer programs that drive revenue and ensures all backend systems are aligned to support anticipated demand. The candidate works closely with Operations, Planning, and the Sales Team on a day-to-day basis and is a point of escalation for both the internal and external customers. Expectation is this person must be able to work independently without direct supervision driving the goals of their accounts on behalf of the broader team. The ISR works pro-actively to be in front of situations and notify appropriate teams ahead of issues as well as providing solutions to problems.
Additional ISR functions include: Tracking and Forecasting Revenue, Unit Forecasting, Split Management, Sampling requests, backlog management requests
This position requires excellent personal motivation with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a strong team environment, as well as the ability to work independently. The ISR must be multi-task oriented, flexible, positive, and able to adapt effectively to challenging and time sensitive situations.
Job Responsibilities:
First line of support for customer and distribution inquiries / Daily solution management – all non-technical customer requirements
Continually monitors revenue, backlog, forecasts, and performance to plan
Coordinate quote activity between sales & marketing
Coordinate order readiness: customer set up, order placement
Backlog management: monitor orders, ship date, communicate with customer on status
Manage escalations: coordinate prep for customer meetings
Coordinate ramp-ups of new programs/products and manage EOL transitions for old programs
Understand customer’s supply chain program and partner networks
Analyze customer forecast and demand data to ensure customer supply continuity
Support development and implementation of supply chain initiatives, ownership of customer scorecard (measure fulfillment performance and drive improvement in the areas of supply, service, and delivery)
Administer any Vendor Management Inventory type programs (buffer inventory review, measure consumption, etc.)
Coordinate RMA requests including failure analysis work if necessary
Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to drive stra
Collaborate with overseas teams to drive customer account success by focusing on key performance deliverables to ensure overall business success
Salary range: $130,000 - $146,000
Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. Job Requirement:
Service-oriented individual with a four-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience in lieu of degree
Highly organized and detail-oriented with outstanding follow-through skills
3-5+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in Inside Sales or External Sales, with semiconductor industry strongly preferred
Previous global customer and sales team experience is highly desirable
Solid understanding of manufacturing and planning processes and supply chain
Must have outstanding written and oral communication skills and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to proactively service business with sense of accountability
Problem solving skills, along with demonstrated analytical skills and business acumen
Ability to perform with poise under tight deadlines and shifting priorities, as well as ability to understand independently what those priorities should be
Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel, and good data intelligence through the use of business intelligence tools
Knowledge of SAP and SalesForce a plus
