Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our dynamic team. The OTA will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients of all ages. Duties
Implement occupational therapy programs under the supervision of licensed therapists.
Assist patients in developing or regaining daily living skills.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized treatment plans.
Provide support and guidance to patients during therapy sessions.
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team.
Requirements
Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Experience or strong interest in working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and inpatients.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Ability to work effectively in a clinic or occupational health setting.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
