We are looking for a motivated Product Development Intern to join our team and support various projects related to recipe management, trend analysis, and data organization.

Job Description: As a Product Development Intern, you will work closely with our culinary and R&D teams to support several key projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the culinary industry while developing your skills in data management, recipe development, and trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Input & Management:
  • Help in updating, maintaining, and creating nutritional information.
  • Input and manage raw food costing data.
  • Contribute to the creation of a database for product yields to ensure accurate costing.
  • Work to enhance the current food costing tool.
  • Develop a comprehensive database for food costing to ensure recipes are accurately costed and insightful.
  • Collect quantitative data and synthesize it for stakeholders

Recipe Management

  • Support the creation and maintenance of recipes with guidance from the team.
  • Develop a template for recipe management in collaboration with the culinary and training team.
  • Catalog and organize all products and their versions for easy stakeholder access.
  • Assist in developing an R&D recipe library.
  • Update and distribute recipes as needed.

Pattern Searching & Discovery

  • Assist in identifying culinary trends and patterns.
  • Conduct research to understand what’s trending in the culinary world.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze findings and apply them to our projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Nutrition, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in culinary trends and recipe development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
