About Us
Welcome to ANI Pharmaceuticals, where we are dedicated to improving and enhancing patients' lives through the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
With a diverse portfolio of generic and branded pharmaceuticals, ANI is a trusted partner for healthcare providers, pharmacists, and patients alike. We understand the importance of accessibility, and our products are available across a wide range of therapeutic areas, contributing to the well-being of communities globally.
At ANI Pharmaceuticals, there are opportunities to contribute to our purpose every day. We value authenticity, knowledge, and hard work, we strive to celebrate our employees in a positive environment. Our culture empowers everyone to be successful and apply our full potential.
At ANI’s Injectable Drug Center of Excellence in Middleton, Wisconsin, we are focused on navigating the challenges associated with injectable drug characterization and formulation to bring lifesaving medicines to patients in need. Our team is fast paced, tight knit, and always looking to find creative solutions to some of the biggest questions in modern drug development.
About The Role
In this 8-10 week fall paid internship, you will be presented with a real research question that our lab is currently examining. Through literary research, wet bench lab work, and analytical testing, you will be given the tools to dive into this research question and synthesize your own experimentation and conclusions. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine contribution to ongoing development work, which has real world impact on patient wellbeing. You will work closely with other scientists and have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to a large number of analytical techniques, FDA regulations, the drug development process, and much more.
Previous experience in a lab setting is preferred. To find this role rewarding, it is crucial that you have an interest in real world applications of chemistry. Understanding of scientific principles, a history of demonstrating technical leadership, problem-solving, flexibility, and a team-oriented attitude are essential qualities for a candidate seeking this opportunity. Having an open mind and willingness to work both independently and with a small team in a deadline-driven environment is a must.
You will be expected to provide presentations to the team; at minimum one on your proposed experimental design based on your guiding research question and one outlining your internship experience and results from your in-lab experience. People are the energy behind our organization, and we’re committed to fostering their success in and out of the laboratory. We are excited to help you further your professional aspirations and make a meaningful contribution!
