The Position:

We are looking to fill an IT Specialist position in our Houston site who will support building up the new facility’s IT infrastructure from 0 to 1.

The IT Specialist is a reference point for all hardware and software application questions at the user level, responds to user needs in a timely manner, and ensures the optimal running of all cloud based systems. This position reports to the IT Manager, works closely with other IT Specialist and 3rd party vendor on maintenance and new project enhancements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide support for building up the new facility’s IT infrastructure from 0 to 1.

· Provide support for cloud applications, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades

· Provide technical support for SAP systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades

· Provide helpdesk support to end-users, including responding to support tickets and resolving hardware and software technical issues

· Provide onboarding and offboarding support for new and departing employees, including setting up accounts, configuring devices, and managing access rights

· Assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures

· Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including IT room, servers, network devices, and security systems

· Collaborate with 3rd party IT professionals, including developers, system administrators, and security analysts, to support and maintain internal IT systems

· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT

Minimum Requirements:

· Strong knowledge of cloud applications and SAP systems

· More than 3 years of working experience in IT support

· Experience providing helpdesk support and technical support to end-users

· Knowledge of networking and security principles

· Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes

· Bilingual in Chinese and English

Education or Desired License and Certificates:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
