Information Technology Project Manager (WMS, TMS, Supply Chain, logistics)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our team and lead strategic IT projects that enhance the client's technology infrastructure and support their logistics and supply chain operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects related to logistics (Warehousing and Distribution/3PL) and supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful delivery within scope and budget constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track project progress, manage tasks, and facilitate communication among team members.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain technology, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.


Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience managing IT projects in the logistics and supply chain industry
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and technologies, including warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with project management tools Asana/Jira
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
