Title: IT Project Manager (Supply Chain)

Job type: long term contract (Remote)

Project Managers serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clients are aware and comfortable with the implementation process and deliverable acceptance criteria. Project Managers are responsible for adherence to PMO Methodologies and for using the standard PMO tools and templates for project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Manages small to large -scale projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and ensuring deliverables are completed with quality.
• Collaborates with clients to understand their objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Collaborates with team to develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines objectives, scope, deliverables, timeline, resources, and milestones with a clearly defined critical path.
• Identifies and assesses project risks and develops mitigation strategies. Monitors and manages project RAID log throughout project delivery.
• Maintains clear and effective communication with project stakeholders and team members.
• Monitors project budget and makes necessary adjustments to control budget.
• Tracks project progress and ensures it adheres to the established timeline. Adjust as needed to meet deadlines.
• Manages and controls project scope as outlined in the executed statement (s) of work. If Change orders are needed, follows the RN standard review and approval process.
• Maintains project documentation, including project plans, action logs, risk logs, project dashboard, etc.
• Engages with internal RN teams to acquire knowledge necessary to demonstrate familiarity with basic functionality, user interface, and general offerings for implementations.
• Monitors project deliverables for quality and takes corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
• Builds positive client relationships that foster the creation of case studies to promote accomplishments and delivery success.
• Acts as a mentor (in an official or unofficial capacity) for Project Coordinators and/or more junior-level team members
• Works with Manager to fully complete annual performance development activities and facilitation to support developing knowledge, skills, and experience for current role and/or future role(s).
• Enters time weekly and tracks own progress towards project and utilization goals using Harvest and Parallax.

Requirements:

• Initiative-taking, purposeful leader, and team player.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely with all levels of management.
• Strong negotiation and creative thinking skills and demonstrated ability to work confidently across multiple projects.
• Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing tasks, resources, and schedules to meet objectives and schedules.
• At least 4 years of demonstrated experience in project management or relevant fields such as business analysis, inside of a PMO a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage strategic and large/complex IT projects.
• Familiarity with procurement supply chain concepts, technologies, processes
• PMP certification is preferred, not required.
• Demonstrated experience with timekeeping and project management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work and participate in a virtual team environment.
