Who you are:

The IT Operations Manager is responsible for improving and maintaining IT services for corporate offices and retail stores. The role focuses on routine and day-to-day operational tasks and maintenance, as well as the execution of operational progress to ensure that they are functioning efficiently and effectively. This includes overseeing an internal and external team responsible for maintaining the systems, as well as ensuring maintenance activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The role includes being responsible for teams of technicians and system engineers through third party, while acting as an escalate and working with the Service Desk Manager to ensure an optimal level of service. The IT Operations Manager will work under the supervision of the Senior IT Manager for the delivery of the IT master plan, while also providing guidance and cooperation for a team of internal and external technicians, Service Desk, and Cybersecurity personnel to ensure smooth operations, adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and compliance with company policy. The IT Operations Manager will constantly monitor and review service performance, proactively work to improve global performance, and cooperate with the IT Manager and AFC for the creation of the IT budget. This will allow them to allocate resources in an effective manner to ensure they meet operational needs.


What You’ll Do:

  • Review, set and enforce IT operational standards, policies, and procedures for internal IT team, as well as across the organization.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources (MSP) to ensure the availability of IT services and ensure IT staff receive training and guidance to effectively manage the IT services and make better decisions.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure IT system solutions are in compliance with SLA, cost effective, and quickly address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of IT services by regularly coordinating with other department area managers and collecting new requirements for project requests.
  • Analyze IT system performance and potential incidents to proactively identify preventative solutions.
  • Administer and enforce BCDR procedure, including reviewing internet, license, and hardware backups.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of IT systems and networking to ensure efficient performance.
  • Operate and manage physical and digital asset lifecycles and ensure the licensing of computer/mobile device software applications and related processes run efficiently.
  • Monitor and evaluate IT system performance, suggest performance optimizations, and implement changes as required.
  • Manage and participate in the design and implementation of IT services and processes for achieving operational objectives.
  • Prepare periodical audit reports for IT Manager to ensure IT services and related procedures adhere to established standards.
  • Some occasional travel and overtime might be expected for this position.


Qualifications:

  • Associate/BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field or relevant certifications for the role (Comptia, ITIL, COBIT, PMP)
  • Minimum 4+years of experience in an IT management position or relevant position
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure development, planning, and operations
  • Knowledge of project management and service assurance principles
  • Skilled in risk management and business continuity
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and knowledge management system
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience within the Luxury and Retail sector.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively to deliver timely and impactful results.
