Information Technology Network Engineer

Network Engineer 5-month contract (w/ possible extension)

$50-$65/hr 1099 or C2C

My client is the leading DoD contractor that specializes in technology advisory and execution partner to mission critical government agencies—including the defense, federal and state agencies is currently looking to hire a Network Engineer for a 5-month contract (w/ possible extension). Since 1991, they have been an integral partner in driving two key outcomes: assuring business outcomes, and accelerating transformation.

Their team of experienced professionals have delivered complex Information Technology projects that have helped agencies serve the American people in more efficient ways—leveraging cloud, and edge computing without compromising security. They have brought extensive infrastructure expertise that has transformed agency footprint—from data centers to legacy hardware modernization and data integration.

Responsibilities:

• Strong working knowledge of IPv6 Requirement
• Strong knowledge of firewall and network switch configuration
• Strong knowledge of load balancer configuration
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to get a Secret Security Clearance
• Technical bachelor’s degree
• 5-10 years of network engineering experience
• Security+ Certification or equivalent required
