Location:** Hybrid (Cincinnati, Springdale Office)

Salary Range - $100K to $110K USD + performance bonus, benefits package and 3 weeks PTO + sick time and personal days

Travel:** Occasional (could increase up to 1 week every 2 months internationally as the portfolio grows)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of system administrators (1 remote, 1 onsite)
  • - Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networking hardware, workstations, and VPNs (70%- 80% with a gradual shift towards more leadership as the portfolio grows)
  • - Ensure compliance with corporate IT guidelines and security processes
  • - Install and update software and hardware as needed
  • - Provide technical support to employees regarding network connectivity and related issues
  • - Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity
  • - Develop and execute a plan to consolidate server resources and migrate on-premises servers to Microsoft Azure
  • - Maintain partner agreements and ensure compliance with related requirements
  • - Keep inventories of hardware, software, and other technology assets
  • - Perform occasional after-hours and weekend tasks, including installation of upgrades and patches

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personnel management in a technical role
  • - Strong understanding of network technology and concepts, including routers, switches, and wireless endpoints
  • - Managed at least a 15-server environment (current is 120 servers)
  • - Proficient in Microsoft platforms (Windows Server 2016, Exchange, SQL Server, Microsoft 365)
  • - Experience with Microsoft Azure server technologies, including server migration
  • - Experience with enterprise hypervisors (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
  • - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
  • - Knowledge of SQL database concepts and ability to execute SQL queries (nice to have)
  • - Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • - High level of ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
