Information Technology Department Manager

Qualifications:

• Must hold 8+ years of IT experience specifically within Data Management 5+ years of which within leadership roles in large enterprise IT settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, analytics, and leadership, particularly in overseeing large-scale application development projects.
• Strong familiarity with data engineering concepts, trends, and a commitment to security integration.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, adept at engaging diverse audiences including executives, with a focus on both technical and business acumen.
• High collaboration aptitude, facilitating idea generation and project alignment across teams.
• Proven track record in quickly grasping and directing diverse initiatives to meet evolving business and IT objectives.
• Extensive experience in executive-level presentations and mentoring IT professionals for team success and individual career advancement.
• Proficient in project management concepts, guiding projects from planning to implementation and support.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.

As the Cloud Data Engineering Department Manager for the Rental Domain, you'll assume a pivotal role in orchestrating strategic initiatives, fostering robust collaborations with stakeholders, and nurturing the professional development of team members to deliver transformative data solutions. Your responsibilities encompass defining strategic direction, cultivating productive relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-caliber data assets aligned with organizational objectives. Moreover, you'll oversee comprehensive team mentorship, facilitate vendor negotiations, and ensure seamless integration with overarching IT strategies, all while upholding stringent standards of security and excellence throughout the data engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic direction and collaboration of the Cloud Data Engineering team, ensuring alignment with business and IT priorities, securing executive support, managing high-quality data application development, negotiating vendor agreements, and mentoring team members to build a world-class organization.
• Develop and execute strategic direction for Cloud Data Engineering, encompassing staffing, product development, and service enhancement within the Rental domain.
• Collaborate with Business and IT Leaders to prioritize and drive global data initiatives, spanning various functional areas and programs.
• Lead teams in the analysis, design, development, and support of data applications, ensuring delivery of high-quality assets across the organization.
• Foster executive support, cultivate IT relationships, negotiate vendor agreements, and mentor team members to shape a top-tier Cloud Data Engineering organization.
