IS Support Service Area Manager
Working location: Congers, NY or Auburn, AL (Hybrid – 1-2 days average per week in office)

We have an exciting position open for an IS Support Services Area Manager. The primary purpose of the position is to manage the day-to-day activities of the IS Support Services Area Team, execute the operational and tactical plans of Support Services aligned with the Organization strategy, satisfying customer and Organization needs. Support the ongoing shift-left-strategy, support the budget initiatives, co-operate with other IS teams/Services and represent IS in local business relations.

This is how your journey begins:
- Manage the staff, daily activities, and goals of IS Support Services in the area he or she is responsible for
- Support project and change delivery by providing analysis, estimating, and implementing changes that improve business outcomes
- Accountable to deliver activities in projects and software changes within their respective area
- Support the continuous improvement via alignment and work with other Stakeholders
- Accountable for the IS Support Service Level Agreement for their domain
- Manage the budget for their domain and support the locations in their budget process
What you will bring on the journey
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IS (Business administration/Engineering or Equivalent) or at least three years in a similar position
Experience
- Experience in global IS Support Services environment
Skills (Hard skills)
- Ability to deliver solution provided within the support service requirements
- Ability to deal with technology in continuous evolution
- Ability to follow technology trends and methodologies that will continue to evolve the services capability
- Ability to understand the customer needs and to build an effective process to support their needs
Competencies (Soft skills)
- Ability to communicate effectively and work comfortably in an environment with concurrent tasks and changing priorities
- Ability to work in a group and in an international environment
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong customer service orientation and behavior.
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong work ethics.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including fluent in English if not native
- Ability to manage conflicts.
Travel Requirement: average 25% travel
