The Information Systems Manager I position is a functional/technical project manager that is responsible for full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of small to medium sized projects on the Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE E1) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform along with other ancillary and integrated solutions.
The Information Systems Manager I position is a global position where he/she proposes improvements to various JD Edwards modules that will enhance the users’ experience, as well as identify and deliver end-user training to increase user efficiency on IS-related software and hardware.
Education:
Four (4) year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent
PMP (PMI) certification preferred
Experience:
5+ years of experience and knowledge of, at a minimum one, JDE E1 modules such as Capital Asset Management (CAM), Procurement (P2P), Quality Management (QM), Manufacturing (SFC) and/or Warehouse Management (WMS).
Minimum of 3+ years working in the technical support field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodology.
Ability to establish good relationships and work multi-functionally with a variety of business and technical team members at all levels.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Basic to advanced SQL writing
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivation skills
The ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines
Fluent in English, conversational in Spanish a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & TRAVEL:
Physical Demands: Occasional lifting and movement of less than 25 lbs.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
WORK CONDITIONS:
This position qualifies for the 100% remote per. the Printpack policy
Primarily a remote/home environment; however, it will be necessary to spend time in the manufacturing facilities working with the user community.
This position should expect after-hours escalation support calls.
