Information Security Manager

Information Security Manager - 100% Remote

Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a InfoSec Manager that will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring security solutions supporting an organization with 5500+ teammates in 550+ locations. The role will have a technical focus on network, cloud, firewall, and remote access. You will also help define, develop, and enforce security policies and best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cloud and network systems for security issues, incidents, and breaches.
• Install, configure, and maintain security software and hardware, such as firewall monitoring, SIEM, SASE, CASB, VPN, endpoint protection and network monitoring tools.
• Research and evaluate emerging security technologies and trends and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Monitor day-to-day SOC operations and ensure security incidents are acknowledged and resolved according to agreed security playbooks.
• Utilize a data-driven approach to identify quality and process improvement opportunities, both within Ivy and within the SOC, to improve service.
• Provide security guidance and mentorship to other IT teams, SOC, and business stakeholders on security best practices.
• Must work EST hours

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a security analyst/engineer or a similar role
• Experience working in SOC and maturing the environment
• Experience with cloud security platforms and services, such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and relevant certifications
• Experience with networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, switches, etc.
• Experience with cloud tools, such as Microsoft Sentinel, SASE (Cato), Zscaler, Sophos Central.
• Knowledge of security best practices and standards, such as NIST CSF, CIS, etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant security certifications such as CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Network+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
