Job Title: Information Security Governance Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Governance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), audit procedures, governance, and the ability to lead projects and present to executive leadership. This role is pivotal in governing our information security efforts and mitigating risks across the IAM organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance and Compliance:

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of information security governance frameworks and policies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of security controls and governance processes.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks.
• Develop risk management strategies and work closely with various departments to implement risk mitigation measures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to ensure ongoing compliance and security posture.

Audit and Assessment:

• Conduct internal audits of information security practices.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to executive leadership.
• Work with stakeholders to develop remediation plans for audit findings and ensure timely implementation.

Executive Communication:

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations on the state of information security to executives.
• Communicate complex security concepts and risks in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership to enhance the organization's security posture.

Leadership and Governance:

• Lead the governance of security initiatives and ensure adherence to established policies and frameworks.
• Act as a subject matter expert in information security governance, providing guidance and support to various teams.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in information security governance, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong background in audit practices and procedures.
• Strong understanding of IAM governance.
• Proven experience in preparing and presenting reports to executive leadership.
