Job Title: Information Security Administrator – Hiring FAST!

Summary:

The Information Security Administrator is responsible for managing all IT-related security and safety issues within the company. This role involves developing and implementing systems and policies to secure both company and customer data, preventing malware infections, and ensuring data stability and security. The Information Security Administrator collaborates with security analysts to determine and implement the safest and most efficient policies, monitors for unusual activity, and swiftly responds to potential breaches. Additionally, this role includes the installation, upgrading, and improvement of malware detection and prevention software, as well as implementing firewall and site-blocking policies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage IT security policies and procedures.
• Oversee the installation, upgrading, and improvement of malware detection and prevention software.
• Monitor systems for unusual activity and respond swiftly to security breaches.
• Collaborate with security analysts to determine and implement effective security measures.
• Ensure the security and stability of company and customer data.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate risks.
• Develop official guidelines for information and communication security within the company.
• Implement and manage firewalls and site-blocking policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of information security principles, including malware prevention, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Policy Development: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.
• Software Knowledge: Proficiency in security software and tools, including malware detection and prevention systems.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
