Our client is looking for an Information Management Specialist w/ knowledge of Veteran's Affairs. Please submit resumes by EOD Friday June 7. This person would not need to be committed full-time to the project but would need to have availability to help the full-time team. We are also open to them being full-time. This is a one-year POP starting in July with 4 option years.

Job Summary

The contractor shall designate an Information Management Specialist to perform tasks that have supported programs, project and organizational work through the design and control of systems that input, delete, retrieve, manipulate, and correct information in databases or automated/electronic records. Experience must include designing and producing reports via a wide variety of information management research tools, systems, and processes, with a focus on Integrated Health Care.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Specialist shall have in-depth knowledge of VHA Systems and files, to include, but not limited to: Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW); Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA); VHA Support Service Center (VSSC); VHA Reports and Measurement Portal (RAMP); Patient Treatment File (PTF) (MedSAS); Managerial Cost Accounting (MCA) System; Primary Care Management Module (PCMM); The National Patient Care Database (NPCD); Veterans Services Network Corporate Mini Master File (VETSNET File); etc. BA/BS degree, 4 years experience.

The PWS doubled down on CDW and OI&T database experience so those are must haves. Other systems mentioned in the PWS include Automated Allotment Control System (AACS), the Financial Management System (FMS), the Integrated Financial and Acquisition Management System (iFAMS), the Integrated Funds Distribution, Control Point, Activity, Accounting and Procurement (IFCAP), HR Smart, LEAF, eOPF, USA Staffing, and PAID.
