Job Description
In this role, you will translate business needs into digital, technical, and process solutions by managing priorities and building technical capability. You will serve as the site technology development leader as it transitions to industrial automation and digitalization to achieve objectives. You will foster an environment enabling collaboration between all business owners to drive creation and implementation of innovative technology with heavy emphasis on improving productivity and efficiency. The Industrial Technology Manager will build and drive a strategy aimed at building sustained capability at the site while supplementing with internal and external resources to realize business goals present and future. As a member of the extended leadership team of the site, the individual drives technology mistake-proofing and an easy-to-follow standards culture at the site.

Responsibilities
- Continuously updates and manages the full digitization request list including translation of need versus want, prioritization of options to meet the need, activities/resources according to business strategy alignment, people capability-building strategy alignment and project value.
- Builds and manages relationships between Industrial Technology Manager, engineering,
- operations, contractors.
- Leads a site team in the development and management of an integrated site master plan for
- the delivery of technology solutions.
- Problem solves, coaches, and develops capability of teams.
- Leads the execution of assigned projects.
- Collaborates and leverages shared knowledge/experience with counterparts at other
- locations to ensure consistency of delivery of projects.
- Finds, directs, and builds capable internal/external resources according to long- and short-
- term needs.
- Pro-actively seeks out losses and improvement opportunities to make the best choices for
- achieving the site vision.
- Finds simple solutions to simple and complex problems bringing in more options.
- Brings ideas/options to deliver needs for customer wants.
- Guides leaders toward easy data access and ensuring compliance with internal controls, legal
- and global guidelines.
- Participates in industrial technology/automation projects in roles going from advisor to
- project manager or sponsor with an understanding of future needs.
- Creates and maintains a framework for escalating issues to proper level of support.
- Pro-actively scouts the external landscape for opportunities and represent Duracell as an
- attractive innovation partner.
- Directs server owners confirming the infrastructure meets current and future needs and decisions/changes won’t negatively impact strategy.
- Forms a bridge between site & global Information Technology.
- Have a BS in Computer Science or Industrial/Electrical Enineering.
- 1 – 5 years project management experience with computer science-related experience.
- Experience as an operations manager for digital work processes a plus.
- Strong analytical and problems solving skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to quickly assess the impact of new technologies/processes.
- Capability to learn from technology experts and apply guidance to meet site business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, recommend, and implement operational improvements to production processes, equipment, and procedures from an Industrial Technologies standpoint.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, option analyze, resource, plan, and manage a large number of digitization project/work requests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High work ethic and self-motivated with the drive and tenacity to get the job done.
- Network infrastructure and system applications management.
- Utilities and machine hardware support.
- Site-wide electronic/digital standards building and management.
