Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

3rd Shift (9:00 PM - 5:30 AM)

We are looking for a 3rd shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our Southington, CT maintenance team!

Responsibilities

This technician role is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and dismantling production and material handling equipment such as forklifts, saws, shears, cranes, forklifts, and other power equipment.

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and PLC motion control systems.
• Repairing and maintaining equipment and various components such as, engines, motors, pneumatic tools and conveyor systems.
• Dismantling, relocating and rebuilding equipment using powered hand tools, electrical tools, laser levels and reassembling equipment.
• Conducting preventative maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
• Completing required reports and records to track costs of work performed.
• Operating equipment according to safety procedures.
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3 years experience directly related to the duties of the position.
• Must be able to read, understand, and carry out work instructions in English.
• Working knowledge of electro mechanical systems.
• Trouble shooting and equipment repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Technical schooling and training a plus.
• Ability to pass drug teste, human performance evaluation, and meet physical requirements of position.
