The candidate will use electrical instruments such as multimeters and amp meters. Will be building electrical consoles by viewing electrical layouts. Drill and punch all boxes for the conduit. Make all conduit and flex runs. When flex runs are made, they are then fastened in place by either welding clamps or drilling and tapping and then pull wire. The candidate will be able to do control and power wiring.
Overtime is based on business needs and is NOT mandatory. The rate of pay is based on prior work experience and schooling. Skill blocks, available after the probationary period to test on, add up to additional $2.25 money per hour.

Essential Duties
Read blueprints and schematics to be able to identify the proper parts.
Be able to use some electrical instruments such as multi-meters and amp meters.
Basic soldering.
Be able to do control and power wiring.
Requires some climbing 35’ would be about the maximum height.
Wire and test small stand-alone machines.
Bending and installing EMT/rigid conduits.
Organizing prints and layouts.
Layout box location, drill and tap frames, or weld box bars in their proper location.
Drill and punch all boxes for the conduit.
Welding skills for mounting electrical boxes and devices.
Ability to troubleshoot and see through to resolution.
Make up subpanels with terminal strips and place them in boxes.
Pull wire, and then number wires.
Understanding of machine processes, logic, and ladder diagrams.
Perform machine and facility repairs and installations.
Qualifications
Knowledge or prior electrical experience.
Job involves lifting a maximum of 50 pounds.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to operate a fork truck.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Have a valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have an electrical and mathematic background and be able to read and interpret electrical diagrams.

The individual will occasionally be required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
