Import Specialist Coordinator

Ultimate Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of a respected client in the North Miami area for an Import Specialist Coordinator. Position Overview: As an Import Specialist Coordinator, you will handle ocean imports and domestic truck shipments, coordinate pickups and drop-offs, manage orders and bookings, process carrier payments, track and trace shipments, generate month-end inventory reports, and ensure the timely release of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage shipments for ocean imports and domestic trucks
• Coordinate pickups and drop-offs with stakeholders
• Handle orders and bookings efficiently
• Process carrier payments accurately
• Track and trace shipments
• Generate month-end inventory reports
• Ensure timely release of shipments
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain performance standards

• Highly motivated and reliable
• Familiarity with INCO Terms
• Strong technical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and adhere to customer guidelines
• Experience in a fast-paced environment

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in import logistics

Education:

• Minimum of 2 years of college education or equivalent technical institute degree or relevant work experience

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite

Language:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
