IG Credit Sales VP to ED - Sales & Trading

Summary:

Take charge of a portfolio of clients, develop relationships while connecting them as much as possible to the various parts of our DM Credit platform, maximising engagement in our primary, secondary & research capabilities.


Full description:

Engage with clients daily to market our capabilities and maximise connectivity with our platform.

Ensure clients know where our strengths lie and provide a consistent level of service in those areas.

Distribute our new issue offerings while getting as much colour on deals as possible in order to develop conversations on reverse inquiry.

Work on our PP and tap opportunities.

Attract inquiry to our secondary platform in order to help our trading books get the best possible liquidity.

Bring order-based and riskless business to the trading desk as much as possible.

Attain a deep understanding of your clients' needs in order to add value to them.

Regularly collect and circulate colour from clients on market views, activity and any particular topics of interest to our platform.

Set up regular meetings to further relationships and to introduce our content to investors.

Work closely with sales colleagues in order to spot trends and match interests to maximise opportunities to cross bonds between clients.

Be prepared to regularly provide updates on numbers and themes to your manager to make sure activity is being accurately transmitted to senior management.

Collaborate with the other divisions within CIB to explore opportunities to cross-sell to your account base.

Make sure you are up-to-date with all compliance training and certifications mandatory for carrying out your role.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $150,000 to $300,000 depending on level of the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
