Hydraulics Engineer

Main responsibilities:

  • Complete hydraulic calculations for drag reducing agents (DRA), including performance prediction and dosage optimization;
  • Conduct or support field trials of DRA at customer sites, including: assist with site set-up and installation, collect data for trial evaluation, perform calculations, prepare written test reports;
  • Provide technical training to both internal and external personnel on all aspects of DRA;
  • Advisor may work directly with customer or in conjunction with sales group;
  • Maintain and improve performance database;
  • Prepare technical documentation for participation in DRA tender bids, including but not limited to: hydraulic analysis; effective dosage estimation, equipment sizing, etc

Important details:

  • Successful candidate will be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must be available for up to 50% of domestic travel and 10% of international travel


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • 3+ years of relevant experience providing field/technical support in Operations/Engineering
  • Technical expertise in liquid pipeline hydraulics (crude oil & refined fuels, preferred).
  • Excellent ability to identify problems and to create innovative approaches to solve the problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
