Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Skillfully troubleshoot and repair a variety of HVAC systems and equipment
Maintenance: Identify potential maintenance issues and risks
Diagnosis: Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems accurately
Emergency Repairs: Perform prompt and efficient emergency repairs to maintain system functionality
Compliance: Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Service Standards: Consistently meet service standards, follow work instructions, and fulfill customer requirements
Customer Relations: Build strong customer relationships and continually understand and meet their needs and expectations
Team Player: Collaborate effectively with other team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Openness to Learn: Demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated with industry advancements
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience as an HVAC Technician
Commitment to Learning: Strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the HVAC field
Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver's license
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating (HVAC) principles
Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Customer Service: Enjoy working with people and providing outstanding customer service
Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Safety & Quality: Comfortable working in confined spaces, with a focus on safety and quality in all tasks
