HVAC Sales Engineer

Job Opportunity: HVAC Sales Engineer with ElitAire – Indianapolis, Indiana

As the HVAC Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining productive relationships, within an assigned territory, with engineers, architects, mechanical contractors, general contractors, and owners. ElitAire is a provider of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and services for new and existing buildings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Growing the Business - establishing new customer contacts / increasing sales to existing customer base.
• Cultivate effective long-term relationships with customers/potential customers through regular and meaningful contact.
• Analyzing the territory, develop, execute, and monitor sales and product trends and programs.
• Project designing / building systems with onsite walk-thru support along with full proposals, as well as performing plan/spec takeoffs when applicable.
• Managing multiple priorities consistently.
• Ability to maintain detailed and complete records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Engineering degree; required
• 3+ years Commercial HVAC or other complex technical system sales experience; required
• B2B experience; required
• Highly organized
• Ability to self-manage and perform each essential duty beyond satisfaction
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
• Effective communication skills
