Position Title: People Leader
Location: Atlanta, GA
Reports To: CEO/Founder

As we expand, we are seeking a strategic and experienced people leader to join our extended leadership team. This individual will be pivotal in driving our people strategy as we grow and ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Position Overview: The people leader will play a critical role in shaping and executing our people strategy. This role is responsible for all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, resource planning, people management, performance reviews, onboarding, and offboarding. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the TopGrading process and committed to implementing and maintaining these high standards within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead and manage the full cycle recruitment process using the TopGrading methodology.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to ensure the selection of high-performing candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
Resource Planning:
- Develop and execute a strategic workforce plan to support the company's growth objectives.
- Analyze and forecast staffing needs to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on workforce metrics and trends to inform decision-making.
People Management:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on people related matters.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Management:
- Oversee the design and implementation of a robust performance management system.
- Facilitate regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance management and leadership skills.
- Identify and address performance gaps to support continuous improvement.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure smooth and compliant offboarding processes, including documentation.
Career Development and Career Planning:
- Create and implement a comprehensive career development program that aligns with employees' professional goals and the company's objectives.
- Work with employees to develop personalized career plans and identify opportunities for growth and advancement.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to support employees in their career progression.
- Organize workshops, training sessions, and other development activities to enhance employees' skills and competencies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of career development initiatives and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
- Prepare and present regular reports on metrics and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior people role, preferably in a fast-growing small business environment.
- Proven expertise in the TopGrading hiring process.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
