About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of HR personnel responsible for all functional HR areas including employee relations, benefits management, regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and employee engagement for the workforce which consists of internal full-time employees and hourly workers.
What will you be doing day to day?
- Working closely with the Sr. management in developing and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities.
- Maintain full compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, and ensure that policies align with the Company vision.
- Recommend, implement, and coordinate Human Resources policies and programs, including but not limited to: employee relations, Workers’ Compensation, and training and development.
- Prepare, generate, and analyze ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to personnel information and data, including but not limited to issues such as staffing levels, turnover, Affirmative Action/EEO, compensation, promotions, etc.
- Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting Human Resources management; identify trends that could impact organizational objectives and/or operational resources; and interpret appropriate laws and policies and advise management and associates accordingly.
- Participate, as appropriate, in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations problems, anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend, and initiate appropriate steps for resolution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or relevant experience required.
- 3+ years experience in Human Resources.
- 2+ years of professional supervisory experience preferred.
- 2+ years of recent experience in a staffing/agency setup is preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP is highly desired.

- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills.
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and performance record.
- Attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace or related software.
- Proficiency in payroll, HRIS and talent management systems.
