HR Manager - Full Time / Direct Hire - Woodland Hills, CA

Here it is! Hamilton Porter is a nationwide recruiting firm that specializes in helping growth mode companies find all-star talent for their internal teams. One of our longest standing clients is a financial services firm based out of Woodland Hills. We are helping them find and hire their next full-time Human Resources Manager. This is an on-site role at their HQ in Woodland Hills. If you are interested, please read on! Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead talent management & acquisition campaigns
  • Facilitate the hiring and termination of employees in accordance with company goals & policies
  • Operate as primary liaison between the company and third-party resources i.e., P.E.O. insurance companies, payroll software, etc.
  • Administer all human resource programs, including, but not limited to: Compensation, benefits, extended absences, disciplinary measures, disputes & investigations, occupational health & safety, and training & development
  • Develop systems and/or programs to enhance productivity, recognition, and morale
  • Provide support and availability to all staff in need of financial, professional, or personnel-related inquiries and concerns.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant human resources experience
  • Operates daily in a manner that supports cooperative teamwork, financially sound principles, self-accountability, confidentiality, and respect for others.
  • Demonstrated superior oral and written communication ability and able to work with diverse populations.
  • Experience creating and implementing workplace policies, practices and procedures in alignment with employment law.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with payroll and benefit administration and processing.
  • Bonus Points for any HR related certifications (SHRM, PHR, etc..)

Compensation & Perks

  • Annual Base Salary ($85,000 - $125,000)
