WeVote has an open volunteering position for an HR Generalist (10-20 hours per week) who wants to use their existing HR skills and apply them to a 100% volunteer organization while also helping strengthen American Democracy.

What You’ll Do
Help the Executive Director and hiring managers with onboarding new volunteers. We add about 4 volunteers a week and take them through a formal offer-letter process. You will be a core part of this process, which requires 1-2 hours 3-4 days per week (Mon - Fri)
Conduct new employee orientations and onboarding
Identify training and development needs within the organization and develop and deliver training programs to address those needs
Partner with managers to create individual development plans for employees and track progress towards goals
Maintain accurate employee records and files
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Generate reports and analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Who you are: Must haves.
Must be able to attend the weekly HR Team Meeting at 4:30 PM PT every Thursday
At least 10 hours each week during our core team hours M-F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your time zone
