What you'll do:
Key responsibilities are in various HR disciplines, including but not limited to HR Administration, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Compensation, Organizational and Employee Development, Benefits, etc.
Performs at an expert level user of HRIS technologies for the processing of employee changes, monitoring of benefit enrollment, identify areas within HRIS that can be improved upon and provide routine/ad-hoc reporting for HR partners as well as requests throughout the business
Assists in facilitating the onboarding of new hires as it pertains to monitoring of background checks and assisting with all steps needed prior to New Hire Orientation
Educate and field employee questions as it relates to all benefit options
Assist in year end activities such as Open Enrollment, coordinating Biometric Screening clinics and preparation for Performance Evaluation and Merit Planning
Conduct exit interviews and analyze exit survey data to identify trends
Partner with People Leaders to coach in the areas of personnel issues, performance feedback, coaching, difficult conversations, etc.
Field and interpret questions regarding policies and practices.
Identify and help to improve HR related policies/practices/systems to ensure compliance and to support company/HR initiatives.
Provide insight to business partners by conducting market analysis on existing and open positions
Provide administrative support to Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition
Acts as a Culture Champion to help foster, enhance and cultivate a positive workplace to make Vari a Great Place to Work
Performs other duties as assigned
How you'll get there:
3+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
HRIS experience is required (Paylocity experience is a plus)
Outstanding communication skills & excellent organizational ability
Have high autonomy; are a motivated self-starter.
Possess a high attention to detail and urgency in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
High level of knowledge/usage in Microsoft Office suite products
Are able to visualize, articulate, and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts, and make decisions on the available information.
Communicate effectively with partners, managers and employees within the organization and 3rd parties where appropriate.
