Position Summary

We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Human Resources Consultant to join us on our journey. As an integral part of our company, you will collaborate with our diverse clientele, offering expert guidance and support. We are looking for someone with a keen business sense and a passion for driving positive outcomes. This role offers a flexible, remote work arrangement with part-time hours. While serving a wide range of clients, your focus will primarily be on supporting businesses in Western Kentucky.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing comprehensive HR consultation on various matters including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and recruitment.

Analyze complex HR issues and offer strategic guidance to business leaders and HR partners.

Manage client contracts and ensure accurate reporting of billable work.

Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries related to policies, benefits, and payroll compliance.

Proactively identify potential challenges and implement effective solutions.

Conduct HR assessments and prepare detailed reports for client presentations.

Develop and refine HR policies, procedures, and documentation.

Lead the implementation of HR strategies to drive organizational success.

Additional duties as assigned by the CEO/Founder.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Bachelor's degree required (advanced HR degree preferred).

SHRM-CP/PHR or SHRM-SCP/SPHR designation required.

5+ years of HR and business experience, with a strong understanding of state and federal regulations.

Demonstrated excellence in previous HR endeavors and business acumen.

Proficiency in HR metrics and the ability to articulate the value of HR initiatives.

Strong consulting, communication, and presentation skills.

Detail-oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills.

Results-driven, motivated, and highly organized.

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, and calendaring.

Expertise in HR strategy and various HR functions including benefits management, performance management, and employee engagement.

Job Type / Work Location / Schedule:

Job Type: Part-Time; Independent Contractor

Schedule: Remote work with occasional client visits and virtual meetings.

Work Location: Candidates must reside in or around Paducah, KY.

Employment Eligibility

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Valid driver's license required.

Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
