Main Duties/Responsibilities

The HRBP works as part of a team to ensure all daily operational and mechanical activities are performed in accordance with our policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our people and service delivery to our customers. Skills & Critical Tasks

  • Extremely organized, able to plan out process improvement plans and monitor adherence to company-defined requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience in recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and other company-wide human resources activities preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Practices a high level of confidentiality and data protection.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize work.
  • Team player who takes initiative, strives for continuous improvement, able to think and act independently, challenges positively, and can counsel and provide advice to employees and managers.
  • Must have strong proficiency with Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Familiarity and experience with ADP is a plus.
  • Offers guidance and support on HR matters including performance management, internal promotions, recruiting, benefits, etc.
  • Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations.
  • Ensures timely response on data inquiries such as unemployment claims, employment verification, etc.
  • Must become familiar with all company HR policies and practices.
  • Maintains knowledge of governmental reporting requirements and regulations affecting human resources.
  • Advises and counsels Field Leaders on HR practices including disciplinary actions, employee retention, and terminations.
  • Provides support delivering presentations on HR topics as needed.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits inquiries.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Oilfield or industrial experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel to (Colorado & North Dakota)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • PHR Certification or higher a plus.
  • Clean driving record and ability to provide proof of the right to work in the United States required
