The ideal candidate is one who has worked in a global mature startup-like environment, thrives in identifying and transitioning structures and processes to improve capabilities of our employee base and helps to deliver continuous improvement based on internal and external best practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide core human resources business partner support and develop a consultative role to counsel, coach and drive global leaders/managers on talent issues across several business units, particularly in the areas of performance management, high potential employee identification, talent development, team building, and leadership development.
  • Help communicate and execute PlanSource’s career and compensation framework.
  • Facilitate talent review and succession planning sessions to guide the identification, investment in and the development of our talent.
  • Act as a change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation – striving to lead mutual processes to best-practices status.
  • Build effective and credible relationships with managers, employees, and executives alike.
  • Align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Work closely with all stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business to support it effectively.
  • Formulate partnerships to deliver value-added service to leaders and employees which reflect business objectives. Maintain an effective business literacy about midrange plans, culture, and competition.
  • Perform job analyses/evaluations and prepare job designs involving assigned areas.
  • Utilize people metrics to provide innovative ideas to advance human resources effectiveness and share best practices.
  • Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs i.e. training to address certain needs.
  • Engage in due diligence efforts related to acquisitions and help drive the successful integration of newly acquired team members
  • While this position does not have direct reports, the expectation is that they mentor and coach positions within the talent organization.
  • Monitor and review employment processes, policies and procedures to ensure alignment to Company’s goals and business objectives and maintain compliance with all federal, state and international employment laws.
  • Other projects responsibilities as they come up.


Preferred Strengths, Skills, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in an HR related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years progressive Human Resources experience particularly as a business partner.
  • Human Resources experience with technology, or SaaS related global organizations with at least 500 employees strongly preferred.
  • Track record of coaching, management and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including compensation practices, employee relations, performance management, federal and state employment laws.
  • Expertise in career architectures and total rewards strategy preferred.
  • Change management and organizational design skills with current knowledge of models, tools, resources and practices that support impactful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and demonstrate flexibility with excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data to identify themes and create problem solving solutions to address those issues.
  • Experience supporting and influencing colleagues at all levels, from employees through executives.
  • Must be able to work outside of normal work hours occasionally.
