Our notable heritage brand client, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist manager to join their team!
*Remote, must be based in the SF Bay or NYC Metropolitan Area
Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date files, records, and documentation
Preserving confidentiality of files
Completes audits of HR files and records to ensure accuracy
Owns the payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks
Supports in new hire orientation
Collaborate with internal and external providers and vendors
Supports with planning special events
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in HR with strong background in payroll management
Experience working with retail team
Understanding of the laws in various states
Strong problem solving abilities
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Proficient Microsoft Outlook, Word and Power Point
Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong time management skills
