POSITION SUMMARY: This role collects, compiles, and analyzes HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, employment records, government labor statistics, and other sources. RESPONSIBILITIES - Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job.

  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, active staff, employee changes, demographics, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepares weekly turnover reports.
  • Prepares monthly HR metric reports including, entering data, entering formulas, populating percentages, generating pivot tables, and generating charts.
  • Identifies and recommends short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Assist with compensation benchmarking and planning.
  • Supports Senior Payroll and Benefits Manager. Assists with HR/Payroll audits.
  • Facilitates the job description process including, new job descriptions, changes, and two-year reviews.
  • Generate and creates reports such as the EEO1 and annual non-discrimination testing for benefits plans, as well as other special and ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Serves as backup support for Payroll processing.
  • Conducts Benefits and ADP presentations during New Employee Orientation.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all payroll and benefits information.

  • Experience and/or Education: Associates' degree or higher required. Experience with an HRIS preferred. 2+ years' experience generating formulas, pivot tables, and charts in Excel required.
  • Computer and Technical Skills: Employee can use the equipment and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of the position. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
