The primary purpose of the Human Resources Generalist is to support the Home Office HR initiatives and strategic objectives and manage the communities daily local HR activities.

Responsibilities

  • Handles administrative responsibilities related to full life cycle recruitment including setting up interviews, conducting interviews when needed, administering pre-employment assessments and testing, reference checking.
  • Administers background checks, drug/alcohol screening (if applicable) and any other post offer verifications or screening in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Conducts new employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Manages community FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation claims, etc.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of organization compensation and benefits administration procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Maintains an adequate personnel record filing system that meets the needs of the facility and complies with current employment practices.
  • Handles minor employee relations issues, appropriately directs serious employee relations matters to Executive Director, Department Head, Corporate Operations or Human Resources Director.

General Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferred.
  • 2-3 years of HR Administration experience required, preferably in the Senior Care field.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner.

WAGE RANGE: $25-$30 hourly D.O.E.
