Gentherm is looking to hire someone to work in their automotive department as a human occupant. Below is the job description. The height and weight of the candidate is very important. If they don't fall within the height and weight, we can't move forward with the candidate. I will have to do the initial screening via Teams. If there isn't any occupant testing some of the weeks, the person will fill in for the shipping and receiving department. Hilo and forklift driving is not required. Sit in seat in close chamber> -20C to 50C for minimum of 30 minutes maximum 2 hours Do this at least twice a day!
Maximum chamber noise 94dB
Weight range 159 to 174 lbs
Occupant height should be 5'7” - 5'9.5”
Occupant can wear headphones, hat, scarf, but will be required to wear jeans and cotton shirt
No issues with Claustrophobia
Lifting 40lbs in warehouse. Moving seats as needed
Has worked in a manufacturing, lab, or warehouse environment (preferred)
Can operate Hilo/Fork truck (preferred)
Willing to learn any and all material handling requirements
Work Hours: M-F (start and end time is flexible)
