Job Description

About the Role:

You will be responsible for HR transaction coordination, transaction execution, production support, and administrative tasks. We seek a versatile, independent team member to join our HR Operations team and support employees company-wide. You will report to the HRIS Operations Supervisor. This position is based in our Norfolk, VA office on a hybrid 3-day-a-week schedule.

Responsibilities


  • You will have experience in HR.
  • You will be the main contact for all employee HR-related inquiries and work with different departments to develop responses and guidance to report to the employee.
  • You will partner with department managers and HR Business Partners to gather HR data information to complete HR transactions within Workday.
  • You will perform complex administrative transactions and participate in HR system workflows within Workday.
  • You will resolve production support tickets which include process or data-related issues.
  • You will support employees in using related technology, including answering questions and participating in user enablement training.
  • You will audit HR processes and employee transactions to ensure data quality and integrity standards.
  • You will maintain a broad range of daily responsibilities, adjusting work priorities to ensure the efficient completion of all incoming transactions and department requests.
  • You will work with payroll and other departments with confidential information.


Basic Qualifications


  • 2+ years of Human Capital Management (HCM) Transactional experience.
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and other tasks).


Preferred Qualifications


  • 1+ years of experience with HCM systems, such as Workday or PeopleSoft.
  • Experience developing creative and novel solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, information systems, or related field.


The annual base pay range for this role is between $50,000.00 - $60,000.00
