Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to lead our People function with a strong focus on the recruitment and onboarding process. As the sole People professional in the company, you will be responsible for both strategic People initiatives and day-to-day People operations. This role will be instrumental in shaping our company culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

What You’ll Own

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and ensure a smooth and timely recruitment process
  • Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company
  • Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate training sessions
  • Coordinate the completion of all necessary paperwork and compliance documentation
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
  • Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Develop, update, and enforce People policies and procedures
  • Implement performance management systems, including setting performance standards and conducting performance reviews
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities for employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in human resources or people operations, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding
  • Start-up experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of HR/People functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management
  • Flexible mentality; willing and capable of performing varied tasks and adapting to change
  • Able to work in a collaborative team environment
  • High attention to detail and discipline to establish processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and lead HR initiatives
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

SALARY AND BONUS POTENTIAL

$65,000 - $85,000 per year
