The incumbent will support the talent acquisition operations, other shared functions and ensure everything is in compliance and adherence to the Bank's policies.
Job Responsibilities:
Include but not limited to:
- Assist department to design, develop, and implement innovative strategies around talent management and employee engagement, succession planning and leadership development.
- Full-time/intern/consultant Talent Acquisition functions including staffing planning, sourcing, applications/resumes tracking, screening, interview and selection, offer management and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Advise and consult with the hiring managers on workforce planning, hiring decisions, job offer negotiations, and market trends within the industry
- Collaborate, liaise and assist Head Office for talent acquisition related activities
- Strengthen the Bank’s brand to provide an exceptional candidate experience at all points of the recruitment life cycle
- Build relationships with external stakeholders including staffing agencies, schools, professional associations, etc.
- Coach, mentor and develop recruitment team to build engagement, capabilities and efficiencies within the team
- Develop, streamline and enhance talent acquisition related processes, reporting and analysis
- Ensure recruitment activities are in compliance with employment laws, company policies and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate key data and metrics to assess the Bank’s staffing levels, and provide reporting/recommendations to the Bank’s senior management, Head Office, internal audit, regulators as necessary
- Conduct exit interviews and review data to identify termination trends and provides insight to senior management on retention initiatives
- Support other shared HR functions
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor degrees or above, preferably in human resources management, labor relations, organizational development and psychology
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in human resources, ideally in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Strong business acumen, problem solving skills
The salary range for the Associate position is $42,000-$90,000. Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
