What You'll Bring

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant HR business partner or HR Centre of Expertise (COE) experience, including experience in technology organizations.
  • Experience and interest in supporting a high growth and fast-paced organizations, fast including experience supporting business groups composed of several business verticals, horizontals and geographical distances.
  • Experience supporting and implementing HR programs including compensation, performance management, and manager/leadership development.
  • Track record of providing HR consultation to HR and/or leadership on strategic initiatives, and becoming a trusted and sought-after thought leader.
  • Excellent communication, consulting and coaching skills.
  • Comfortable in an environment where one is regularly balancing roll-up-your-sleeves-to-get-things-done activities with strategic discussions.
  • Ability to understand and analyze a complex situation and simplify it into actionable solutions.
  • Experience within a matrixed management environment and with managing through influence.
  • An undergraduate degree is required, and an advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Business is preferred.

Impact You'll Make

  • The HRBP role is all about building and implementing the organization and talent strategy for the US Markets/CI business unit enhancing the capability of managers and leaders in those organizations and seizing the opportunity to make an impact in one of TransUnion’s most significant business units. The Sr. HRBP will report into the US Markets/CI Director HRBP and Senior Advisor HRBP and support our associate population with focus on direct strategic support at the Director and Manager levels.
  • TransUnion’s US Markets/CI org has ambitious growth plans and the HRBP holds a critical role, working closely with the HR team and business leaders to understand the strategic direction of the business, determine the HR implications, identify opportunities to enable and enhance the business agenda and ultimately build and execute plans to support that direction.
  • Measure success of the HR plans, and identify ways to improve upon the current methods, processes and thinking.
  • Partner with COE teams such as talent acquisition, compensation, learning and development, employee relations, payroll and sales effectiveness to ensure business strategies are met and in line with enterprise objectives.
  • This individual will be responsible for data entry, management, extracts, manipulates, and analyzes confidential HR data from various modules (Workday, Headcount, Vizier)
  • Assist managers with accurate and timely completion of employee skills assessments, performance reviews, and performance management.
  • Support HRBP team with annual performance management & pay planning processes.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness (culture, collaboration, communication, etc.) in acquisitions, integrations, and re-organizations through the provision of thought leadership and insightful data in order to guide decision-making and deliver proactive solutions.
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of issues, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines.
  • Understand the business unit strategy & use information\data to diagnose and identify current and trending needs. Sets the appropriate approach for Managers.
  • Executes on the core set of projects that are needed to enable the business, leveraging the right resources to help them execute.
  • Translate HR strategy into BU initiatives and plans with direction from HR Director and Senior Advisor HRBP.
  • Advise primarily at the Director and Manager levels.
  • Handle complex ER Issues. Act as a primary point of contact for addressing employee relations issues including conflicts, performance concerns, grievances, disciplinary actions and workplace investigations.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
