HR Assistant

Job Title: HR Assistant

Job Duration: 06 Months Contract on W2

Job Location: - Lakeland, FL - Remote

Note: US Citizen are required for this position.

Description

  • This position will provide time and attendance support to employees within assigned ****** Business Units, as well as general payroll support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Customer service by responding to employee inquiries via various sources such as resource email accounts, help desk, phone calls and employee inquiries to the ******* Employee Service Center.
  • Support will entail administration within various time recording systems
  • Performing time adjustments in ***** People
  • Maintaining holiday schedules
  • Prorating holiday hour entitlements and weekly Gate Waiver exceptions
  • System training and testing when system changes occur
  • Weekly reporting and audit support
  • Complete required tasks independently

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Payroll principles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Time and Attendance principles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Wage and Hour Compliance requirements
  • Proven effective Customer Service skills
  • Proven effective Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated effective Analytical skills
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office soft
