Position Overview
Blackrock is looking for a highly organized administrative assistant to assist with the day-to-day human resources operations of the company including processing paperwork, uploading documents into employee files, assisting with coordinating projects, organizing workflows, and participating in special projects.
Qualification Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
A minimum of one year's experience in administrative role in Human Resources or similar position.
Exhibits high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling extremely sensitive information using considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
IDEAL COMPETENCIES
Extensive experience with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Asana.
Advanced knowledge of confirming and rescheduling appointments, as well as record-keeping practices.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
An understanding of diversity and inclusion principles to foster an equitable workplace.
The capacity to adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness.
Experience working with HRIS strongly preferred, ideally within Rippling.
Essential Job Duties
Work with Senior Manager, HR to deliver HR programs and solutions.
Assist in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures.
Assist with coordination of HR systems (e.g., Rippling, SharePoint, etc.) to maintain integrity of employee and organizational data.
Process documents and organize filing records.
Assist with the recruitment process as needed by posting job ads, organizing resumes and job applications, scheduling interviews, and initiating the onboarding process for new hires.
Proactively identify areas for process improvement within areas of responsibility.
Perform assignments where trust, discretion, and accuracy are required, while maintaining confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care.
Perform administrative tasks as required.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
