We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Family Assistant/House Manager to join our busy household in Atlanta, GA. This role involves managing the daily activities and schedules of two children (between the ages of 8-10), providing care for two dogs, assisting with household management, and performing various errands and light housekeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have exceptional time management skills, and be comfortable with a dynamic and flexible schedule.


This role will require overnight stays at the house with the children once or twice a month along with prolonged periods, all will come with ample notice. We are seeking someone who can commit to being with the family for many years to come. The ideal start date is the middle of August.


Responsibilities:

  • Transportation: Safely transport children to and from school and extracurricular activities.
  • Pet Care: Comfortable with and able to manage care for two dogs, including scheduling and organizing their activities.
  • Household Management: Assist in managing the main residence, ensuring it is organized and well maintained.
  • Activity Organization: Plan and organize weekly activities for the children and dogs, coordinating schedules with the primary family members.
  • Meal Coordination: Collaborate with the primary family members on weekly meal planning. Meal preparation is required, and cooking skills are a plus.
  • Grocery Shopping: Handle all grocery shopping needs for the residence.
  • Errands: Run various errands throughout the city for the primary family members.
  • Housekeeping Support: Assist the housekeeper with light housekeeping tasks.
  • House Organization: Manage all aspects of household organization to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Property Management: Proactively plan and address any unexpected property matters.


Requirements:

  • Must have a personal car and a clean driving record. (Gas and car cleaning will be reimbursed.)
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to be a proactive planner and problem solver.
  • Comfortable working with dogs and managing their care.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.


Compensation: $100,000 plus gas and car washes, any other reasonable expenses required to do the job.


Hours: Typical Hours will be Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm, except Thursday’s will be 12pm-8pm. With the additional overnight stays when needed.
