Our flagship transitional work program-- Ready, Willing & Able-- integrates paid work, occupational training, and holistic supportive services to facilitate an individual’s return to mainstream society.

We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor who will be based out of our Porter Avenue, Brooklyn facility.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You must be able to understand The Doe Fund Program and the Key Leadership Characteristics.
  • You are able to work well with Trainees.
  • You will be able to contribute to making Porter a better place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be organized, energetic and able to keep up with Restriction Clients.
  • Conduct daily "Team Meeting in the AM" with Restriction Clients.
  • Balance workloads for morning and evening shifts.
  • Manage, order, and keep computer inventory of custodial supplies while maintaining a simple budget.
  • Navigate the Word-To-Pay system and access Client Tracking Data Base for accurate Restriction list of admissions and discharges daily.
  • Keep facility Callahan Inspection ready on a daily basis.
  • Supervise 2 Custodial Staff.
