APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Southfield, MI looking to add a Regional Director of Operations to their already amazing team. What your day will look like:

  • Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular visits to properties to assess performance, address issues, and provide support to property managers.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to property managers and their teams.
  • Develop and manage budgets for each hotel within the region, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with property managers on revenue management strategies and cost control.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate ongoing training programs for staff.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement regional strategies and business plans.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, and develop action plans to address them.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, revenue growth, and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and service standards.


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in hotel operations management
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • 50% travel required to various client locations
