Hot Sauce Equity Sales Owner

As they expand their footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Owner to lead our sales efforts and drive significant growth.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Owner with a strong background in high-volume sales within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry to be an Owner and Driver. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully selling to major retail chains and will be instrumental in driving their sales strategy, expanding their retail presence, and achieving their ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with major retail chains and other key accounts.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with buyers and decision-makers at major retail chains.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
Set clear goals and performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.
3. Market Analysis and Planning:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
Analyze sales data and performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and financial plans.
4. Account Management:
Oversee key account management and ensure exceptional service and support for our retail partners.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements with retail buyers.
Monitor and manage account performance to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Provide input on product development and innovation based on market feedback and customer needs.
Collaborate with marketing to develop effective promotional strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in high volume sales within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
Proven track record of success in selling to major retail chains (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, etc.).
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment who wants OWNERSHIP.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
